Communication is the most important concept that regulates the relationship between individuals in society. Communication has been among the indispensable concepts since the early ages of humanity. It is through communication that a person expresses his / her needs, feelings, thoughts and opinions on any subject. Communication actually provides the social order. It is in constant communication with other individuals from birth to death. The concept of communication is both a biological and a social need of the person. In addition to the needs of the individual, communication is also important in terms of passing the social values, traditions and rules that ensure the order of the society to future generations.

Different definitions have been made about communication, which is important for human history. In its most general definition, communication is the process that takes place between the receiver and the transmitter. During communication, individuals use mutually common symbols and a common time zone.

Communication has functions both individually and socially. Thanks to communication, people can reach their wishes, improve themselves, change the conditions they are in and make the moment they are in enjoyable. Social functions of communication are; It has functions such as informing the society or a certain group, communicating the requests of the teacher, society, entertaining, and accelerating decisions. Thanks to the communication, individuals can direct the audience in the way they want with a good oratory. To move the audience in the desired direction, to impose the desired thoughts and to change the existing attitude of the listener is all through communication.

The communication process can be verbal or non-verbal. With communication, people can transmit a message to the recipient with common symbols, verbal or non-verbal. Proper channel and common symbol use is important for a healthy communication. The person who wants to transmit the message interacts with the recipient using common symbols, language and resources. Here it appears that communication and interaction affect each other. As a result, in the communication process, both the receiver and the people who want to convey the message are in constant interaction and at the same time affect each other. With communication, people both develop and change themselves and affect the other buyers.

Source: The element that initiates communication and plays an important role for communication elements is the resource. Source initiates communication. Some sources are also included as senders. The resource must be present in every communication process. The source is someone who acts to convey emotion, thought, or information. In order to achieve the desired result in the communication process and to progress the communication process in a healthy way, the source must have certain features and equipment.

Coding: It is the transmission of thoughts that a person wants to convey to the recipient in a certain order or in a certain sequence. Certain symbols can also be used during coding.

Recipient: The message – the person who perceives and makes sense of the message. The receiver actively tries to understand and make sense of the message coming from the source in the communication process.

Message: In other words, the message is the information produced by the message source and wants to transmit to the receiver by encoding. The message contains the feelings and thoughts that the individual wants to share with the recipient.
